Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, Dallas

About Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, Dallas

Founded in 1925 as a beautifully landscaped park northeast of downtown Dallas, Restland Funeral Home & Memorial Park is proud of its reputation built on quality, sincerity, and trust with services that celebrate and honor the life of every individual. As the largest funeral home and cemetery in the southwest, Restland features three stunning chapels, which have all undergone recent renovations and upgrades to ensure the comfort of all family and guests and to provide the latest technology offerings, including live streaming for family and friends who can’t be there in person.

Our Memorial Chapel was remodeled in 2017 to reflect a modern, state-of-the-art design. It offers seating for 250 guests plus overflow seating in the foyer. Our non-denominational, non-sectarian chapel, Wildwood Chapel, is located within the heart of Restland Cemetery and offers families a beautiful, intimate setting for funeral and memorial services. Built in 1942, Wildwood Chapel was constructed to resemble a typical countryside chapel and is our most requested chapel for gatherings of 75 people or less. Abbey Chapel was constructed in the late 1950s from the large marble and copper dome building that was once the main entrance to the cemetery; and is an ideal setting for funeral and memorial services of 90 guests or less.

The state-of-the-art George Young Care Center & Crematory was constructed in 2013 and is known for its contemporary and modern design. The care center is staffed 24 hours a day to ensure we’re here for you when you need us. Within the George Young Care Center is our onsite crematory that ensures loved ones remain in our care. The crematory also offers a beautiful witness area for those who wish to be there for the cremation.

While located in Dallas, the expansive park-like setting provides a beautifully secluded sanctuary to memorialize your loved ones. The cemetery provides special sections for various religions, veterans, and infants and children.
